Today, a generation exists that performs Avadhanam even though they were born and raised in the United States.
There is also a generation, born and raised in Russia, creating short videos using Telugu film songs.
Here too, there is a generation born and raised in Malaysia that participates in traditional Telugu arts and folk performances.
And there are children born and raised in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Myanmar who attend Telugu language schools.

Today, every country in the world has its own Telugu story to tell. That is why we believe that when discussing Telugu, it should not be tied to any single region or community. In our view -
🗣️ Anyone who speaks the Telugu language,
📖 Appreciates the beauty of Telugu literature,
🎶 And has love for Telugu arts,
is a Telugu person. Wherever Telugu people live, that place too is Telugu land.

Therefore, let us move a little beyond simply talking about Telugu identity and instead reflect on a deeper question: What constitutes the Telugu language? What constitutes the Telugu literature? And what constitutes the Telugu culture?
